SG Audio Studios

SG Audio Studios is an established sound recording, arrangement, and music production facility operating in İstanbul, serving solo artists, ensembles, voiceover performers, and media composers. The studio operates its urban facility at Meşrutiyet Caddesi Toptaş Apt. No:105 K:1 D:1 in İstanbul, offering comprehensive audio engineering infrastructure alongside modern digital workflows. Founded in 2002 in Galata by composer, songwriter, arranger, sound engineer, producer, and educator Sertaç Güler, the institution represents more than three decades of academic discipline and practical commercial experience. Over his career spanning more than 30 years, Sertaç Güler has produced, engineered, and recorded hundreds of albums, extended plays, and singles across the Turkish music landscape, creating a reliable production home for independent creators and established artists alike. The operation relies on a dedicated core team that brings technical and administrative depth to every production, including mastering engineer Süha Duran, who handles precision sonic post-production, and lawyer Nazlı Tuba Çatı, who oversees legal frameworks. Artists turn to SG Audio Studios not merely for acoustic tracking rooms, but for an integrated creative ecosystem that links initial song development to certified final distribution. By bridging physical studio tracking with remote capabilities, the facility accommodates local creators who step inside the studio alongside global collaborators seeking specialized arrangement, editing, and commercial audio engineering. Whether starting from rough acoustic sketches or fully orchestrated stems, clients utilize this space to capture pure sonics and build commercially viable audio products.

Programme and What's On

The service menu at SG Audio Studios is structured into defined studio packages, specialized audio engineering services, online production workflows, and digital release pipelines. For artists recording in person, the cornerstone vocal tracking solution is the Starbox Vokal Kayıt Edit Mix Mastering service, which passes audio signals through high-grade professional microphones, preamplifiers, and dedicated converter chains before proceeding into detailed editing, mixing, and mastering. General tracking sessions run under the Kayıt Stüdyosu offering, pairing performers directly with seasoned sound engineers to record full instrumentation or solo performances.

To eliminate the friction of coordinating multiple independent contractors, the studio offers the Mini Single Paketi. This all-in-one package consolidates an arranger, dedicated recording studio access, tracking, mixing, and final mastering under one roof. The facility is officially certified as an Apple Digital Masters (MFiT) authorized studio, ensuring that final masters adhere to high-fidelity streaming specifications. Beyond the console, the studio functions as an active record company: it was granted an official music production certificate by the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Culture and Tourism in 2013. Operating in partnership with The Orchard, the studio provides the SG Productions Etiketi ile Dijital Dağıtım / Liste Desteği service, which handles global digital delivery and pitches eligible tracks toward prominent Apple Music editorial playlists.

For creators working from outside the city or across borders, the studio provides structured remote solutions. Through Online Music Services, musicians can initiate an entire arrangement and production workflow starting with simple rough vocal or instrument memos recorded on a smartphone; the team then develops these recordings via advanced audio technology and scheduled face-to-face online consultations. The Online Mix & Mastering service accepts remote multi-track stems without geographic limits. Additional offerings round out the portfolio, including commercial audio production through Jingle & TV - Sinema Müzikleri, dedicated Dublaj voiceover capture, Demo Kayıt sessions, and personalized Online Dersler covering music theory and engineering.

Atmosphere and Who It Suits

The working environment at SG Audio Studios is characterized by four core cultural pillars: a welcoming demeanor, a calm working pace, uncompromising professionalism, and a solution-oriented mindset. Recording sessions often induce performance anxiety, especially for emerging vocalists or solo songwriters stepping into an acoustic booth for the first time. To counter this, the team prioritizes an unhurried, reassuring studio dynamic where performers receive constructive creative feedback and technical patience rather than rigid time-clock pressure.

This atmosphere is grounded in the deep academic background and more than three decades of industry practice cultivated by founder Sertaç Güler. Rather than treating sessions as mere mechanical engineering tasks, the workflow approaches every track from the dual perspective of a composer-arranger and an audio engineer. Artists working on arrangements or demo tracking benefit from immediate, practical guidance on harmony, dynamics, and vocal phrasing. The historical legacy of the brand—which spent years operating from a top-floor creative space in Galata overlooking the Bosphorus—continues to inform the studio’s reflective, art-first ethos.

The facility is specifically designed for four primary groups: singers looking for pristine vocal capture through dedicated preamp chains, composers needing complex arrangements transformed into polished orchestrations, instrumental musicians tracking acoustic or amplified parts, and independent artists seeking end-to-end album creation. Beginners recording their inaugural single find the packaged workflows accessible and transparent, while seasoned studio professionals appreciate the presence of dedicated mastering engineer Süha Duran to handle technical sonic thresholds. Because every project is handled through structured consultations, creators with diverse skill sets find tailored solutions, whether they require full structural arranging or precision vocal tuning.

Studio sessions, administrative consultations, and technical operations run on a structured daytime schedule, maintaining operating hours from 10:00 to 18:00 daily throughout the year.

Access to all studio facilities, tracking rooms, and engineering services requires prior scheduling. The venue operates strictly on an appointment basis to ensure that ongoing recording takes and critical mix evaluations proceed without external interruption. Prospective clients, artists, and production partners can direct questions, schedule consultation meetings, or confirm session bookings by telephoning the studio directly at (0212) 244 16 03 during regular working hours between 10:00 and 18:00. The Mio Angle: Meeting and Events

For the creative community on Mio, SG Audio Studios stands out as an authentic production destination rather than a casual drop-in hangout. It serves as an essential meeting ground for solo singers, songwriters, and musical collaborators looking to translate rough musical ideas into commercially finished masters. In the context of creative gatherings, the space functions best for focused pre-production listening sessions, arrangement consultations, and intensive vocal tracking dates. Creators asking 'where should I produce my next single in İstanbul?' find a studio environment that pairs technical rigor with experienced creative mentorship.

From a budget perspective, the studio addresses one of the most persistent hurdles for independent artists: unpredictable hourly studio costs. By providing structured, bundled solutions such as the Mini Single Paketi, the facility allows artists to budget their entire project—encompassing arrangement, tracking, mixing, and mastering—under a single transparent framework. Solo artists working on tight production allowances can plan their release milestones without fearing runaway engineering fees, while commercial clients producing jingles or TV audio gain predictable deliverables backed by formal institutional contracting.

Visually and socially, SG Audio Studios offers compelling behind-the-scenes moments that perform exceptionally well on creative feeds. The tactile environment of high-end microphone setups, dedicated preamplifier racks, and digital audio converter units provides authentic imagery for artists documenting their studio process. Filming vocal takes inside the booth, snapping candid control room discussions during a mix playback, or sharing milestone announcements regarding Apple Music editorial playlist placements under the SG Productions label provide meaningful, narrative-driven content for community followers. Furthermore, the studio's online face-to-face consultation system ensures that even remote collaborators can document their collaborative progress on social platforms, creating a connected digital footprint for every release.
